After Breakfast at your hotel, meet your guide and depart for the vineyards.

**Château Cos d'Estournel** (Saint-Estèphe) - Start your day with a visit to this iconic estate. Book a guided tour and tasting to explore their exceptional wines.
**Château Lafite Rothschild** (Pauillac) - Another prestigious estate, known for its exquisite wines. A tour here is a must for any wine lover.

**Lunch:**

- **Café Lavinal** - Enjoy a delicious lunch at this casual restaurant in the village of Bages. (not included)

**Afternoon:**

Day 2: Right Bank (Saint-Émilion and Pomerol)

Day 3: Day Trip to Cognac

Day 4: Exploring Bordeaux

We sill supply you with a Bordeaux city pass which allows 24 hour access to the tram system in Bordeaux and to over 25 museums and monuments.

Visit the **Cité du Vin**, an impressive wine museum offering interactive exhibits and tastings.

**Afternoon:**

- **Lunch:** Enjoy a meal at **Le Quatrième Mur**, a popular restaurant by chef Philippe Etchebest. (not included)

Explore the **Musée des Beaux-Arts** and stroll through the charming streets of Bordeaux, visiting shops and cafes.

  As Americans living in Portugal, we recently had the pleasure of touring Bordeaux with Decanter tours. Decanter put together an itinerary that included a history/food tour of the city of Bordeaux, and two days of Left Bank/Right Bank winery tours. The tours were well-planned and well-paced, and as first time visitors to the region, gave us  a great overview. The wineries and food shops were well-curated, the visits personalised, and we felt welcome at every place we visited. Decanter also arranged for excellent lunches  on the days of the winery tours. My wife and I took our mothers for a memorable birthday trip. The wineries they selected for us to visit were exceptional and the wine was delicious, and the setting was beautiful.
