Discover different appellations of the Medoc on this wine tour and the different classifications. From Cru Bourgeois to Classified Growths this tour has it all. A delightful lunch in a charming chateau is included (with wine of course).

This is the region where all the most famous names are found: Chateau Lafitte Rothschild, Mouton Rothchild, Latour, Palmer, Marguax, the list is endless. You will become familiar with these properties on your private Medoc wine tour.

Meet your guide at your accommodation.

Departure for your first visit.
On the way to your first visit your guide will give you an explanation about the Bordeaux wines characteristics and Classifications and the complexity of the different appellations in the Medoc region. Learn how soil and climate as well as the type of grapes can influence the flavor of the wine.

First we visit a cooperage and see how barrels are made.
Then a visit to a winery to taste the wine direct from the barrel and see the effect of the wood ion the wine. We also taste a finished blended wine.

The 3 course lunch, included, will take place in a charming chateau in picturesque Medoc village.

In the afternoon we will visit two more chateaux in the Margaux or Saint Julien appellations.
