Friday Arrival

Settle into rooms time to explore, have a swim or relax with a cup of tea overlooking the vines.
Private transfers can be organised upon request.

Friday evening

Presentation of the programme.
A relaxed introduction to Bordeaux wines and a deep dive into Sauternes with the wine maker.
Followed by atasting and dinner

Saturday

Gentle morning yoga session followed by a light Breakfast.
Visit a farmers’ market.
Tour & tasting of Chateau Cerons, Graves red, dry white and sweet winesincluding a picnic lunch.

Saturday afternoon

Time to relax by the pool at Chateau Sigalas Rabaud.

As Americans living in Portugal, we recently had the pleasure of touring Bordeaux with Decanter tours. Decanter put together an itinerary that included a history/food tour of the city of Bordeaux, and two days of Left Bank/Right Bank winery tours. The tours were well-planned and well-paced, and as first time visitors to the region, gave us a great overview. The wineries and food shops were well-curated, the visits personalised, and we felt welcome at every place we visited. Decanter also arranged for excellent lunches on the days of the winery tours.
